St Hilda’s East is a large, popular community centre in Tower Hamlets and our team provides aid to children and adults in need - both within the centre and through community outreach services. We need to raise vital funds to enable us to continue tackling poverty, deprivation and isolation.

Each of our services solves a problem (or several) for different groups in our community. For example: Our PEACE Youth Project is year-round educational and recreational programme for 11-19 who face barriers to employment, education and inclusion. Our Surjamuki Project helps young people with disabilities who have difficulties with learning, confidence and independence. Our Over 50s Feeling Good is a much-loved and well used service for people over 50 facing isolation and mental health problems.

Since 1893, the staff and volunteer teams at St Hilda's have been dedicated to providing long-term, dedicated and tailor-made support to disadvantaged people right across Tower Hamlets. Whilst the staff and volunteers have of course changed over the last 128 years, our ethos to give aid and hope to people facing adversity has not altered. We will continue solving old, established problems through our proven support programmes whilst developing new projects to help people facing emerging problems
