We're in a climate crisis. Climate change is already wreaking havoc on people’s lives and livelihoods across the world and we know it will get worse if we don’t act now. We are raising funds to get the UK Government to take ambitious action tackle our climate crisis.

Situation
In little more than a century, human activity has increased global temperatures by around 1°C. Inadequate action means we’re on course for a catastrophic 3°C of global warming. Every small increase in global temperatures means more alarming effects of climate change – from flooding and food shortages, to wildfires and species going extinct. The world's most marginalised people will suffer most from this climate breakdown, which will result in further inequality and poverty.
Solution
We will support our 250+ Climate Action Groups across the country to campaign for urgent climate action. We'll provide training, resources and guidance to support groups to develop their own campaigns. Groups will push their local and regional leaders to develop and implement ambitious Climate Action Plans. Our 50 point Climate Action Plan gives local authorities practical actions they can take to reduce emissions and make their areas greener and more sustainable.
