PAACT Equestrian Centre at Fort Widley is an affiliated Riding for the Disabled Centre (RDA) We provide riding experiences for a variety of disabilities. Purchasing a carriage will extend our RDA provision and provide the opportunity to experience the thrill of being in control of a horse.

Situation
Many disabilities can prevent people being able to ride and therefore are being excluded from gaining the health and wellbeing benefits of being on a horse. PAACT are passionate in providing equal access for all, regardless of ability and to promote community spirit and teamwork.
Solution
By providing carriage driving opportunities, we will be increasing our RDA offer and further improve equal access to all. Our customers will get the benefits of riding which are relevant to carriage driving; improving their health and wellbeing, delivering a lasting therapy that benefits mobility and co-ordination, and encouraging confidence and self worth whilst having fun.
