Financial pressures are a common concern for families who are coping with a long-term health condition, however - with the on-going economic impacts of the Coronavirus pandemic – that pressure has been mounting for people who are on a restricted income. For people with MSA, we want to relieve that burden by increasing our Welfare Grant Fund, so that it will be available to those who are most in need – for whatever their need might be - from mobility equipment to respite care and counselling.

With a significant pot of funding dedicated entirely and exclusively to our Welfare Grant Fund we will be able to open the scheme more widely and offer these one-off payments to more people than ever before – making the journey of MSA a little easier for those who are affected by this devastating disease. Awards are assessed quickly, so that payments can be made swiftly and efficiently, ensuring that support is there exactly when it is needed.
