Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC) is a rare genetic disease causes tumours to form in many different organs, largely in the brain, eyes, heart, kidney, skin, and lungs. TSC can cause seizures, developmental delays, intellectual disability, ADHD, behaviour problems, autism, and anxiety and depression. For many having TSC is like walking through a minefield, as it is impossible to know when another symptom will present itself. For those needing help, the TSA offers a wide range of support.

The TSA aims to provide help for today and a cure for tomorrow by: • Providing direction or a listening ear through our support and information services for the TSC community, including through our UK-wide TSA Support Line • Organising events and opportunities across the UK and virtually for those affected by TSC, allowing the TSC community to come together and feel less alone • Funding internationally significant research into the causes, diagnosis, management and treatment of TSC.
