Children in Palestine have suffered not only from Covid-19 restrictions but also from a war that has destroyed many houses and public areas and killed more than 70 children. Providing playgrounds gives children somewhere safe to play, and helps them overcome trauma. Please help if you can.

Gaza (365 square km), the third most populated area in the world with about 40% of the population under the age of 14, has only 30 playgrounds in total - in contrast Central Park in New York (3.41 square km) has 21. Playgrounds support creativity and learning, promote physical and mental health, deter children from playing in unsafe areas, and above all enable children to enjoy their childhood.

To date we have built seven playgrounds for children in Palestine or for Palestinian refugees elsewhere, but many more are needed: we have a waiting list of places in Palestine that have requested our help including an orphanage and a school for children with autism. We are all volunteers so have minimal expenses.
