We have designed and developed a new dinghy that will not sink or capsize and can be sailed by disabled and able-bodied people for fun, adventure and excitement but totally safely. We loan out our dinghies to disabled people who could not afford to buy them and cover insurance and maintenance, too.

Disabled people are often reliant on others for their daily needs which can impact their esteem and confidence. They rarely get the chance to do tasks independently and many sporting activities are closed to them, especially if they have complex needs. Participating in activities with carers and family members can prove difficult as well, as their needs are often not catered for. Finding a sporting activity that allows them independence and freedom whilst still being exciting can be a challenge.

The newly designed dinghies are safe and fast. They will not capsize or sink but provide an exciting sailing experience for disabled and able-bodied people alike. A disabled person in one of our boats is able, independent and equal to the carers and family members that participate alongside them. It can be tricky getting disabled people into our dinghies but it is a lot harder to get them out at the end of the day that they do not want to end!
