We currently have a high number of requests to aid disabled shelter dogs. The 11 dogs concerned have not been fitted with walking aids so their mobility is being severely affected. 7 of the dogs need dog wheels due to spine injuries/paralysis. 4 of the dogs need prostheses, 2 x full leg and 2 x half leg. The absence of prostheses is placing unecessary strain on their remaining legs which will cause pain and joint problems in the future.

All 11 dogs have been fully assessed by a vet. The dogs have been measured for their wheels and casts will be taken for the prostheses as soon as we raise the funds. The dog wheels and prostheses will give the dogs their mobility back, allow them to walk, to run and to play and will dramatically increase their quality of life.
