Sensory integration is believed to be necessary for almost every daily activity that we perform. Most people with learning disabilities also have some form of sensory processing disorder.Sensory integration therapy equipment is specialised and often an expensive item for families to buy. Within schools, most people delivering LEGO®-based Therapy work just with the children so when the delivery stops, the therapy stops.

Our project will offer a 6-week loan of equipment to enable the family and individual to try different things before investing in their own. In schools, we work with the children AND their teachers so that after the sessions end, the teachers know how to deliver the work and can continue it when we leave.
