Situation
Because of Covid-19 Fuel’s live programme was cancelled, causing a loss of £1.042m in 2020 (73% reduction from 2019). We need your support more than ever, as we seek to: Bring disconnected people together, especially in under-served rural and urban communities in the UK Support freelance performance makers in need of work, especially those from under-represented demographics Produce a programme which is representative of the UK’s rich diversity and inclusive of currently excluded demographics
Solution
Support will enable Fuel to: - Produce live experiences that share new stories, for the benefit of audiences and participants in under-served areas, offering 10% of tickets for free to those in need - In doing so, engage freelance artists and offstage workers, disproportionately affected by Covid-19 - Extend our reach through a hybrid programme of in person and remote/digital performance and engagement
