This has been a devastating year for our students, compounding a difficult period after the Grenfell Tower fire, in which 5 of our students lost their lives and the school experienced great upheaval. We are concerned about the longterm impact of school closure on all our pupils' mental & physical health and learning but particularly our most vulnerable pupils including the 378 on Free School Meals (double the national average), and those at risk of being excluded from mainstream education.

We broaden horizons, raise aspirations and nurture key life skills through the provision of a diverse range of educational enrichments that would otherwise be out of bounds to both our students and the school budget. These include sports, arts, life skills and academic enrichments, particularly targeted at the most vulnerable. We will also respond to needs arising out of school closure due to Covid-19, including holiday activities, mentoring and extra support for vulnerable students.
