We aim to acquire one years' worth of PPE for our drivers, passenger assistants and passengers to ensure their hygiene protection during essential bus journeys. This will support our main mission to provide safe & supportive accessible transportation services to anyone in the borough that needs it.

During the period of Covid-19 sustained transmission, Hoppa is acquiring PPE for its drivers, passenger assistants and passengers so that their essential journeys are as safe as possible . Our main priority is to provide passengers with safe and secure transportation particularly as our services are mainly used by people who are most at risk such as the elderly, disabled and children with special needs. PPE is an unplanned expense which runs into 1000s of pounds therefore we need to raise funds.

Our wheel-chair accessible buses were always deep-cleaned anyway due to the vulnerable nature of our passengers. We now aim to provide even more hygiene protection in order to meet new government guidelines for transportation, to ensure that the drivers & passenger assistants feel confident enough to work and to assure our passengers that their essential journeys (to hospitals, medical appointments, grocery stores, for example) are as safe as possible.
