Situation
The urgent need for mental health support for vulnerable young people, we believe in the importance of early intervention within school settings. In the UK, 60% of those who need mental health support do not have access to it during childhood. The transition back into the education system, following many months of homebased learning due to the COVID-19 crisis will be a challenge facing many young people and educational staff.
Solution
Our mission is to support the education, mental health and wellbeing of vulnerable young people, within school settings, through art-based theraputic intervention. Our unique theraputic provision supports young people to re-engage with their education. We work with young people suffering with low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, bereavement, trauma and loss. We work with young carers, Looked after children, those who have recently arrived in the UK or are at risk of exclusion.
