At PAACT we are committed to helping young people be the best that they can be. Our Limitless Activity Days provide fun and active sessions for young people with disabilities. We want to increase our reach and offer these days to more young people and their families, and allow more people to benefit.

Situation
Families with a child with additional needs often find it difficult to access activities that are exciting, safe and suitable for the whole family. Families gain huge benefits from being able to spend time together, have fun, build relationships and get active. We support families who have a child with additional needs to get into physical activities. Specifically, we want to encourage young people with additional needs to be able to join in with activities with their siblings
Solution
Between 2018-19 our 'Limitless' sessions provided fun challenges and bonding opportunities for 237 participants. We would like to improve on our sessions by holding disability specific days, such as for children with autism, and inviting a specialist in that area in for a Q&A sessions with parents/carers. We would also like to run similar days for young carers as an activity packed day of respite.
