Croydon has the highest youth crime in outer London, with 683 crimes involving knives in 2017 – almost two per day. The youth re-offending rate is higher than the England average (45% compared to 37%) and income deprivation is a huge concern with 22% of children under 16 living in poverty. This creates a challenging environment for young people in Croydon, who without the necessary support, may end up following a detrimental path.

We will help solve this problem by providing these young people with an inspirational youth work facility where they have the opportunities they deserve and where they feel motivated to achieve their potential.
