Children and young people with disabilities are highly dependent upon support networks, their families or carers to access the community and to safely lead any sort of social life. Social isolation, fuelled by funding cuts to local authorities and a lack of specialist provision, has always been a major challenge for our members and has only been made worse by the recent pandemic. Our young people feel isolated and confused and don't understand why they can't socialise in the usual way.

TAG provides a safe space for young people with disabilities to meet, socialise, have fun, learn new skills and try new activities. Our Friday junior and youth clubs operate 52 weeks of the year, along with family trips, sibling events and residential breaks. During lockdown both clubs went online immediately at their usual time, offering quizzes, dance & keep fit and outside entertainers. Along with daily online fun & socials, we deliver 1:1 and small group outdoor sessions to our members.
