We need your support to keep the doors of our new Cancer and Wellbeing centre open. The Centre costs £120,000 pa and offers information and support to those affected by cancer as well as their families by offering a warm, welcoming environment outside of clinical setting.

Our patients said they needed a Cancer and Wellbeing Centre and we listened. “5 years ago at the age of 29 I found my breast cancer. Having had no family or friends my age who had had cancer I instantly felt isolated. My nearest support link was 1.5 hours away, a journey I couldn’t have faced during my chemotherapy, a journey I didn’t want to make after weeks of radiotherapy."
Solution
The Centre means no one in North Devon has to go through their cancer journey alone. We want patients to feel less lonely, isolated or judged, to gain a sense of empowerment and control, to feel confident to live their lives to the full.
