Each year hundreds of dogs, cats, and small pets find themselves in need of a loving home. Many have health or behavioural issues that mean they need specialist care, ongoing medication, or dedicated training, as well as specific criteria for their new homes, which means they take longer to rehome. We help people too, whether that's the individual going through the worry and anxiety of being parted from a much loved pet, or the person looking for a companion to make their lives complete.

Our non-destroy policy means we help animals regardless of health or behavioural issues. While we always aim to match them with brilliant new families as soon as possible the animals in our care get help for as long as they need it. Whether its a retirement foster home for a cat with health problems, or years of behavioural training and tlc to help build confidence in a nervous reactive dog, our dedicated staff, and amazing volunteers, make sure each animal gets the best second chance possible.
