At FareShare we are doing everything we can to continue delivering food to vulnerable people. Research shows that the number of food bank parcels given to people rose 89% from March to April this year. During the height of the pandemic FareShare provided an emergency response, delivering 241% more vital food supplies to frontline organisations, than the same months last year (April to July), providing a lifeline to those most in need.

The demand for FareShare’s service this Christmas is not expected to reduce. To continue to support these frontline organisations, and meet the increased demands for FareShare’s services, we are improving our infrastructure to ensure we hit capacity sustainably; strengthening relationships with the food industry, growing our national warehouse space, increasing our delivery van fleet and continuing to grow our charity membership.
