We’ve all been worried about not seeing our families this Christmas. For people in prison for crimes they didn’t commit, it’s an especially heartbreaking time. Please donate to give innocent prisoners the gift of freedom and bring them home to their families - if not by this Christmas, then by next.

Wrongful convictions don’t just happen on tv, or only in the USA. The truth is that hundreds of innocent people are sitting in prison cells across the UK this Christmas and their voices have been silenced. British justice is meant to be “the best in the world.” Yet cuts to the police, prosecution and legal aid, non-disclosure of evidence, and flawed forensic science are resulting in miscarriages of justice. And the system will not admit its mistakes or work to fix these injustices.

Overturning a wrongful conviction requires experience, persistence and resources which our broken criminal justice system doesn't have. We fight for the freedom of wrongfully convicted prisoners in the courts, the media, and in Parliament. We identify strong cases of innocence, gather the documents in the case, and find new evidence by going out on the streets interviewing witness and instructing the best experts to carry out forensic tests. Help us free people the system has forgotten.
