We will provide fun days out for people with learning disabilities. Our clients love the beach, zoo, sailing and the circus etc. 2020 has been a tough year for our clients with coronavirus restrictions preventing day trips and family visits. Outings promote emotional wellbeing and social inclusion.

Situation
The coronavirus lockdown and shielding guidance have prevented outings and day trips for much of 2020. Our clients with learning disabilities love to get out and about in the community to meet people, have fun and experience new things. Being confined to homes can cause social isolation and have a negative impact on people's mental and emotional health. 2020 has been a tough year for our clients, separated from families and not able to enjoy their usual range of community activities and outings.
Solution
We will take our clients on accessible outings so that they can have fun, engage with the community, see and experience new things and live life to the full. This could be to a Winterwonderland, the cinema, a safari park, a cycle centre or a sailing experience. This will promote clients' personal development and fulfilment. After a 2020 of restrictions this will be a boost to clients' emotional wellbeing and will help them live purposeful lives as active members of their communities.
