In 2021, we plan to continue MOZART 250 – our ground-breaking 27 year project exploring Mozart’s life, music and influences chronologically – and our important work in creating crucial paid performance, recording and training opportunities for young singers at the early stages of their career.

MOZART 250 is widely acclaimed for shedding new light on the work of arguably the greatest composer ever to have lived, while unearthing numerous wonderful rare and largely forgotten works. Our performances create vital work for many artists and invaluable training opportunities for young singers. The Covid-19 pandemic and resulting performance cancellations has meant that most artists have lost their livelihoods and career development opportunities for young singers are needed more than ever.
We will present a series of world-class concerts and recordings and continue our Associate Artist Scheme generating vital work for 50 artists. Associate Artists are offered: •paid performance and recording opportunities; to help build their reputation in the industry; •tailored coaching from Artistic Director Ian Page and other experts; •extensive rehearsal periods, with the space to finely tune their craft; •opportunities to perform at private recitals; •£1000 bursary.
