The North Kings Cross area of London where we are based is an area of both long-term high deprivation and affluence. We aim to involve children in the development of their local community. A large proportion of the children are living in poverty, with a lack of (positive) guidance, a lack of recreational facilities, and are under peer pressure to engage in negative behaviour. We aim to give young people a safe-space through workshops and activities.

We provide a range of activities, including sports, arts, music, trips, mentoring, employability and enterprise for over 300 disadvantaged young people in the Caledonian and Barnsbury Wards in North London. The activities we provide aim to raise levels of aspirations and achievement and help young people to develop and build a brighter future. Our Youth Centre is designed to be a safe, welcoming, youth-led space, where young people feel a sense of community and belonging.
