Disabled children face many barriers when it comes to leisure and social opportunities due to their needs. In addition most of our users are financially deprived making it virtually impossible for their children to attend any summer programs due to the high cost involved in such programs. Lastly disabled children are the first to be deprived of basic needs such as eating etc. due to the difficulty involved, and this is doubly hard in the summer when people are on holiday and there is less help.

Camp Horizons effectively solves the problem by virtue of it's existence. A residential summer camp created for children with a wide range of Special Needs, Camp Horizons will provides over 85 special campers with a fantastic summer experience, a 1:1 or 2:1 counselor to camper ratio, dedicated medical support staff, a fully inclusive program and tailored activities will all contribute to the success of Camp Horizons. In addition no child will be turned away due to lack of funds.
