We want to provide children and young people with the opportunity to learn about the challenges and opportunities presented by climate change, and equip them with the tools and skills to make their voices heard and enable them to actively contribute to raising awareness of climate change.

The proportion of young people who vote remains steady at 46% and whilst interest in politics among children and young people has increased in recent years, three quarters of people cannot name their MP and only 10-15% of people contact their MP each year. We often find that children and young people lack confidence in approaching their MP and when they do meet, struggle to find common ground or really get through to their MP.
By providing free workshops which aim to educate children and young people about climate change and to make them aware of the role of their local MP in dealing with the challenges that it poses. Children and young people are given resources and support to create their own climate campaigns and to present these to their local MP. The local MP is invited to become an advocate for the ‘winning’ campaign in Parliament.
