To buy a new wheelchair accessible vehicle that will transport patients to their therapy group sessions and appointments at The Hospice. Without the vehicle, patients are unable to attend or have the worry of arranging alternative transportation, leaving them feeling isolated and distressed.

Situation
Without the specially adapted vehicle, patients would not be unable to attend their therapy sessions or appointments at The Hospice. There are huge benefits to patients attending appointments and therapy groups, providing them not only with medical care and advice, but also peer support. This is also often the only time their carers will get a break. By providing them with transport, we are giving patients and families one less thing to worry about during a difficult time.
Solution
We plan on raising enough money to buy a vehicle that will be specially modified to allow for all wheelchair access.
