Due to shortages of vital medicines, in the West Bank and Gaza many treatable health issues are causing enormous suffering and costing lives. For every £10 donated to IHP through this campaign we will receive £20 enabling us to distribute around 50 treatments.

Situation
Across Gaza and the West Bank, millions of people are in desperate need of humanitarian assistance. Damage to infrastructure, drastic cuts in funding from the US government and strict controls on access to goods have created a catastrophic situation. The UN describes the healthcare system in the region as ‘on the verge of collapse’. Treatable health issues are costing adults and children their lives and causing avoidable pain and complications due to the lack of essential medicines.
Solution
IHP will coordinate the delivery of top quality, long-dated medicines to health facilities in the territories, enabling doctors and medical staff to provide patients with the best possible care. As the medical aid we source is donated rather than purchased, we can leverage excellent value for money. For each £10 we raise on average we will receive £20, enough to distribute donated treatments with a value of £200), enough to distribute 50 treatments.
