Situation
When families have a child that is diagnosed with cancer or a life limiting illness there usually follows a drop in income. This is generally because a parent has to give up work or reduce their hours to become the primary carer. Thus meaning that a holiday or break away is generally unobtainable or last on the list of ever growing essentials.
Solution
Ruddi's Retreat address the problem by providing a respite break free of charge at one of our beautiful fully accessible static caravans basin in Filey, North Yorkshire. The caravans are kitted out with everything needed for a peaceful and restful stay. The holiday aims to reduce stress and worry for the whole family where they can make memories to last a lifetime. In some cases, the holidays we offer to certain families will be the last time they go away together before a child passes away.
