To develop our services for adults with autistic spectrum disorders at our original site of St. Erme, Truro, Cornwall, by creating a) a residential home appropriate for older people's needs, b) a residential home at which ongoing assessment will be carried out to enable people to move on to other, long-term homes, c) to build a day care and adult education centre.

Situation
Our two main homes on the St. Erme site are in need of updating to meet modern standards. St. Erme House will be a home for people of 50+ who have become more settled and whose needs are different from younger people's. St. Erme Lodge is also a residential home at which the needs of people entering our service will be fully assessed to ensure that they are placed in ongoing homes which are most suited to them. We plan to develop specialised software to assist with this process which will ensure that accurate and specific information will be securely maintained to provide the details necessary for this process. We plan to build a day care and adult education centre on the five acre St. Erme site to provide opportunities for education, activities and socialisation in a safe and secure environment.
