Situation
Cartoons and comics are an art form which are very accessible to the general public but many people in and around London have never heard of the Cartoon Museum or cannot visit or enjoy our exhibitions or events for financial reasons or because they have never heard of us. We run a successful Learning Programme but due to some loss of funding are not able to offer free sessions to schools/hospital schools in all areas. Extra funding means we could advertise and offer free admission and events.
Solution
Aim : Increase first time visitors through free admission Activity: Run 'Free First Friday' every month from March to December and stay open late until 8 pm Aim: Extend reach of Learning Programme to schools in less well represented boroughs Activities: * Run twenty workshops for schools in unfunded boroughs. * Run 10 workshops for hospital schools in unfunded boroughs Aim: Offer visitors more chance get involved Activity: Run 10 free events and workshops throughout the year
