Creating a new memorial will provide the public space to pay their respects, and it will serve as a permanent reminder of the dedication, bravery and sacrifice made by our Armed Forces every day. The Garden of Honour is situated in the Royal British Legion Village, Aylesford, Kent.

RBLI is expanding and transforming the existing garden with great sensitivity to the memories of the Fallen and tot he families of those who will be forever linked tot he garden. The existing garden needs to accommodate raised areas and more suitable wheelchair access. RBLI wishes to utilise the whole area more and make a national focus for Remembrance Day.

The new garden will also become the focus for summertime concerts and a range of activities. It will provide a place for residents of the British Legion Village to engage in garden activity and to come for reflection. A raised garden area with suitable wheelchair access is planned.
