The Hope Centre is an outreach centre that will allow women and men who are suffering domestic abuse to walk in and ask for help in their own time. We provide support, counselling, information and training within the Hope Centre. There are no similar projects operating in the area.

When someone finally decides to seek help they may have to visit a number of different agencies and tell their story many times over. We have a centre that has many services available. At a time of great stress, we aim to make the process of seeking help as simple and seamless as possible.
Solution
The Hope Centre is a place of safety for women and men to call into and get the help they need in a time of crisis. Only 2% of incidents are estimated to be reported to the police which means that there are many people silently suffering this dreadful treatment.
