Eikon runs a 15 Peaks Challenge Event, for which it holds the unique intellectual property and key relationships in the locality. An outstanding event, with a proven track record of raising significant income, it attracts high-value individuals. Eikon is now looking for the event's first sponsor.

Situation
The 15 Peaks Challenge Event raises valuable income for Eikon. Income raised is used to achieve our objectives: 1. Reducing the risk of young people facing truancy, exclusion, antisocial behaviour, drug and alcohol misuse & unemployment 2. Aiding personal and social development, through increased self-esteem and self-confidence 3. Strengthening family relationships and develop parenting skills 4. Providing young people with strategies of coping with new challenges and building resilience
Solution
Eikon's youth workers deliver the following services: •One-to-one mentoring •Group work sessions/ lunch time activities (including peer to peer groups such as our “young carers” groups, smoking cessation groups and police surgeries) •Family support (including home visits by arrangement, and parenting workshops) •Out of school activities such as personal development residentials •The recruitment, training and support of over 30 regular volunteers from the local community
