By simply wrapping and filling a shoebox with fun and practical things for children we can support Samaritans purse by providing orphans around the world with their only christmas gift. We can wrap & fill a box for £10. A team of volunteers are knitting & haggling with market traders to get bargains

Situation
Millions of orphans around the world have no idea that it's christmas. They live in shocking environments. often separated from siblings and get on with their daily lives in extremely difficult circumstances. All shoeboxes are given to children in need, with no regard to their background or beliefs. Each box costs around £10 to wrap, fill + cover postage. Our small team are volunteers - so all donations go towards the boxes, nothing else!!!
Solution
The campaign is run by Samaritans Purse who work with local partners on the ground to ensure that your gift-filled shoebox is delivered with integrity and with respect to the local culture. By donating postage online we can track where our boxes are sent & provide all donors with this info. By sending this humble shoebox we aim to bring hope and a simple smile to orphans around the world this xmas.
