Development issues that are addressed in this action include, progress towards MDGs, barriers to progress on MDGs, minority poverty, actions to break systemic cycles of poverty, marginalisation and exclusion.
Solution
This programme is about addressing the negative attitudes resulting from ignorance and lack of contact between majorities and minorities and indigenous peoples. Through targeted work, campaigns, and quality publications, it will aim to combat the stereotypes, racism and/or hate speech existing in the media as a result of lack of information on the situation faced by minorities and indigenous people.
