Pembrokeshire FRAME owns a steel framed building within their carpark at their Merlin's Bridge site. They plan to renovate the building into a state of the art Enterprise, Community and Well Being Centre.
Setting up a business can be very daunting, particularly for disadvantaged individuals. We are aware that poverty, unemployment and social isolation is increasingly a concern in Pembrokeshire. We also recognise the increase of people with disabilities, mental health issues and dementia in the county.
We plan to provide training and support to business start ups, particularly to disadvantaged individuals who would normally find it impossible to start up in business. 2 start up pods will be available to rent at affordable prices. We will offer affordable short courses in art, crafts & nature. Whilst our wellbeing centre will provide activities and therapies to encourage positive health outcomes for all participants. Café & garden seating areas will help people to connect and reduce isolation.
