Increasing numbers of people are coming to our Drop In because they are not able to access services elsewhere. There is no statutory funding available for this and we need to help more people by increasing the services we can offer. We can provide the first port of call and then accompany service users to further treatment with THOMAS or elsewhere.

Coming to THOMAS' Drop In is often the first step in acknowledging that someone has a problem with drugs or alcohol. Because this service is open to all it is non-stigmatising and welcoming. We are able to encourage volunteers to support our service users. Health and other services can visit the Centre and support service users, arrange follow up appointments and provide access to more formalised rehabilitation and recovery programmes.
