    Situation

It's a tricky time for art education. As a society we are training less teachers to specialise in art, and there is less time in the school day for children and young people to meet their creative potential. At the very time when we need to invest more resources to ensure we continue to build our creative economies, we seem to be applying the brakes. We need to ensure we help build a climate in which creativity can flourish, for the benefit of all our futures.

    Solution

We believe that AccessArt has a unique part to play in helping to support teachers, learners & creative practitioners. AccessArt advocates sharing of high quality visual arts practice. By sharing skills, knowledge, experience and outcomes we can all work together to help raise aspirations and standards in visual arts teaching & learning. AccessArt aims to be as accessible as possible, and to connect and bridge practitioners, facilitators, teachers and learners at every level.
