Beneficiaries
All our students have severe learning difficulties, many demonstrate challenging behaviour and most are further challenged by autism, but we truly believe that their needs should not become barriers to their potential to learn. We aim to provide a safe, secure and enabling environment where our students can live, learn and achieve their maximum individual potential. Our large multi-disciplinary team is dedicated to providing consistency through a 24-hour curriculum which is informed by pupil need and national guidance. This affords students the opportunity to celebrate success through nationally recognised qualification at appropriate levels. Supported by Multi Element Behavioural Assessments and Individual Care Education Plans, the students’ care and education is coordinated effectively to ensure a focus on addressing the learning needs of the whole child. Highly trained staff provide intensive individual support and one-to-one skill building which facilitates the students’ health and well-being. This provides opportunities to develop skills; acquire knowledge and gain experiences relevant to students’ present and future lives.
