The building of a specially designed water sports centre to replace our ageing porta-cabins at the Andrew Simpson Sailing Centre. Increased training space, indoor areas, classroom teaching aids, office space and storage would significantly increase our ability to deliver our charitable objectives

Situation
1)We are currently operating form old and worn porta-cabins which need replacing. 2)Due to limited indoor facilities, our ability to deliver to numerous groups at the same time is limited. 3) The local area is high on the National indices of deprivation and has limited facilities and opportunities for local youngsters. 4) There is a high level of inactivity and motivation in the area, 5) There is a high level of young people with mental and physical health issues in the local area.
Solution
1) Purchase of a new purpose built water sports centre 2) Provision of multiple good quality indoor training rooms to significantly increase the number of people we can accommodate 3) Linking with our charitable programmes, we can offer activity to a wide variety of people at minimal cost. 4) With regular participation programmes, we aim to increase the level of sport participation 5) Using sailing as a tool, we can address health and low level mental health issues before they become a problem.
