    Situation

    Situation Funding gap for advice services in Hackney, which is a diverse and vibrant neighbourhood. However, the challenges in Hackney are also significant, from high levels of obesity, isolation caused by cultural issues and language barriers, to a range of health inequalities. We aim to reduce isolation, build trust and increase wellbeing amongst individuals and communities.

    Solution

    Solution By raising the funds to alleviate the problem because this will enable us to employ multilingual staff and work to bring us closer to our local residents. We will support: • individuals in need – through • legal advice • multilingual advice and support into work • community action – helping local groups build their skills and work together to improve and celebrate the neighbourhood (e.g. through Hackney Festival and Hackney’s Community Forums) • the local environment;
