For those experiencing domestic abuse, knowing where to go for support and advice can be very difficult. They could be isolated from friends or family, scared of their abuser or worried that nobody will believe them.

The Dove Centre offers support and assistance to women experiencing domestic abuse. The Centre can help women to offload their worries and concerns, providing them with safety strategies to keep themselves and their children safe, and can refer women to available refuge accommodation if they want to escape. The Centre also provides counselling post-domestic abuse to help women to overcome problems such as depression and anxiety that experiencing domestic abuse can cause.
