Every day, over 1,000 people visit the Women's Aid website to access information and guidance about domestic violence. Many of these are women who are themselves being abused and who are looking for a route to safety for them and their children. £10,000 would sponsor one of our most popular online services, The Survivors Handbook, for 2 whole years. The Survivors Handbook is a new addition to the website that offers a reliable and accessible source of guidance for those at risk of domestic violence. It provides all the information that victims of domestic violence need to take the first steps to a secure future free from abuse, including guidance on legal issues, housing and managing finances. In this time, over 300,000 people could use the Handbook to access essential information to help themselves or someone they know to break free from abuse. By sponsoring our website and online services you can help us to reach out to even more women who live in fear in their own homes. Your support would allow us to update and maintain the Survivor's Handbook to keep pace with changing policy and legislation, ensuring that victims of abuse are provided with accurate, up-to-date information that could help them to transform their lives.
