    Situation

The Custodial Trustees of the Hall are unlikely to allow the Hall to be sold by the local Church to Ansell Community Centre, but are amenable to a lease although we disagree over the length of lease. Assuming we will come to an accord (although the legal wheels grind very slowly) Ansell will need sufficient funds to put the structure in a good state of repair and then re-fit. Over 10 years, we will need to spend £375,000 if we get our long lease (more like £500,000 if we can buy the building as well). Although funds are not needed until the legal side has progressed, we are registering our needs now.
