We are seeking funding to buy and develop a residential property in Surrey. The house will be used to support five adults with diverse learning disabilities who wish to live in the wider community. Our care and support agency operates 4 schemes but need to increase capacity to meet the known need.

With the closure of larger institutions, there is an increased need for smaller residential support units and domiciliary support for adults with diverse learning disabilities who wish to live more independent lives with relevant support in the wider community. With experience of delivering such projects for adults with learning disabilities and as a registered charity and housing association we are well placed to deliver.
We wish to build on the highly rated care and support that we offer, both in our own houses and to the tenants of other organisations. We are in contact with the local authorities and local families who are looking for long term, positive and permanent care solutions for their young adult siblings. We have been approached to meet the demand and only lack the material resources and funding to satisfy it
