The New Start Adventure Programme is a residential outdoor education programme which inspires disadvantaged young people to learn and achieve in a supportive, structured, enjoyable and healthy environment. By providing continuity the children gain maximum benefit and are more likely to make positive choices about their lives. Through the volunteer led camps, children grow in confidence, self esteem are able to work together and trust each other. All of which are essential building blocks for the young people to contribute more effectively to their local community. The children are nominated by schools and social services and the programme is provided free of charge. This ensures that every child is able to participate no matter their current situation.
