The cold weather that winter brings can be the hardest time of the year for many men and women living on the streets. Supporting St Mungo's Winter Appeal allows our outreach teams to help more vulnerable people into shelter and safety when they have nowhere else to go. Please support us if you can.

This year sees a 30% increase in the numbers of rough sleepers in London and across the UK. We support people in urgent need, helping them off the streets and into accommodation. We manage referral systems such as the national StreetLink line so that members of the public can tell us if they are concerned about someone sleeping rough, and we can connect those people to local services. We also provide a number of recovery services to help people rebuild their lives.

St Mungo's Winter Appeal aims to raise vital funds to allow us to continue our work. With public funds being significantly reduced, our services are being threatened. We rely on the generosity of the public to help those who are less fortunate than themselves. Our mission is to halve the number of rough sleepers in the next five years. This appeal also aims to raise awareness of the problem of homelessness.
