To help families who have visually impaired children with the additional costs associated with bringing up a visually impaired child

Situation
A recent survey found that the average cost of bringing up a child in the UK is £43,056. That amount increases significantly when the child has a visual impairment. Specialist equipment such as Braillers, enlargement software for computers and digital enlargers can add thousands to that amount. This can put families with visually impaired children at a disadvantagee compared to those without.
Solution
The project gives families with visually impaired children a helping hand with the additional cost of bringing up a visually impaired child.
