A listed building circa 1620 Hawkins House roof needs to be refurbished and redesigned to enable a sufficient guttering system. In its lifetime, it has been an alms-house, school, workhouse, hostel and has housed thousands of people. Transform owns the building which is home now to 11 people in recovery from alcohol and drug dependency.

Transform has tendered this project to eight potential contractors. Hawkins House has been transformed over time as have the people who have stepped over its threshold – this renovation will ensure many more people will benefit from the building and the work that Transform undertakes within it.
