    Situation

A in depth programme of community engagement will reach out to marginalised communities to engage them with the arts and family learning opporunities. Professionally led drama-based projects will focus on families sharing and enjoying, learning and interacting together, for example, learning a dance together or creating a story or play together and performing together. The sessions will focus on supporting them and developing skills. Activities will allow participants to try new things, learn new skills, build on existing skills and have fun. The sessions will teach parents and carers about how children learn and will empower them to be more confident to engage in their children’s learning, and develop their own literacy and communication skills.
